HOCKEY ace Holly Stringfellow is on the way to international glory stardom being picked for Britain.
The Lancaster and Morecambe College student, pictured, has sailed through trials to win a spot in the British College squad and is ready to bully off in a tournament in New Zealand.
BTEC National sports studies student Holly - sister of Morecambe footballer Michael Stringfellow - is captain of the college's hockey academy, a regular in Lancaster first team and captain of the Lancashire Under 18s schools team.
And she played for the British College team on a successful tour of Holland last year.
Now Holly has just one problem - she must raise £1,800 towards the cost of the trip.
She says: "Hopefully the college will help where they can but it is a lot of money and I will be writing to local businesses and organising some fund raising of my own to help."
