GREATER Manchester has been allocated 68 new community support officers (CSOs), who will work with police to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour in communities.
Home Office Minister Hazel Blears said: "Greater Manchester already has 8,061 police officers, complemented by 188 community support officers."
