LEIGH Centurions have landed a record shirt sponsorship deal to mark their debut in Super League.
Leigh-based wrought iron specialists, House of Sharratt, have signed up as main shirt sponsors for an undisclosed five-figure sum. The deal could be extended to become a six-figure sum over two years.
Executive director Derek Beaumont said: This is great news for the club. We have attracted a record deal and both parties are extremely happy.
Sharratts are one of the main wrought iron manufacturers in Europe and are a high profile company locally who also retail bespoke furnishings. They want to get involved with us and were happy to have them with the Centurions in Super League.
