TITLE-CHASING Asda Golborne slipped to a shock 4-3 defeat at lowly Fir Tree Reserves in the Leigh District Soccer League.
Second placed Asda scored through Hill, Munro and Spencer but strikes from Bond, Neill, Fielding and Caldwell gave Fir Tree only their second win of the season.
AFC Tyldesley extended their lead at the top to five points aftyer a 1-0 win over Atherton Sports and Social, the only goal coming from Cooper.
There were goals galore in the clash bettwen Atherton Liberal Club and De La Salle with the Salford side emerging 7-4 winners. White (3) and OConnor were on target for Atherton.
A hat-trick from France helped Leigh Legion to a 5-1 win over bottom club Rope and Anchor. The Legions other goals came from Hewit and Hindley with Hill replying for Rope.
