SCHOOLS are being urged to build on pupils' skills at an event to promote hands-on vocations.
Students at St Monica's RC High in Prestwich will attend the SkillCity Northwest careers fair.
The four-day event at Manchesters G-Mex Centre will feature chances to try bricklaying and hairdressing.
All pre-booked groups will be entered for draw to win a Mac computer.
The event ends on Saturday.
