COULD your Letters page solve the burning question of the new year?
Which maze expert designed the Tesco car park in Bury?
I had the misfortune to be asked to pop in for a loaf of bread last Friday afternoon. Unfortunately it was stale by the time I managed to escape from this new, congested stretch of the M6 (ie Tesco car park).
What is the point of buying fresh fruit and vegetables in Tesco if you need to own a refrigerated lorry in order to keep it fresh while you wait to leave the gridlocked car park.
According to a "trolley dolly", if someone goes missing the police now give out telephone numbers for the car park attendants as well as the local hospital casualty departments.
I mean we all had such fun listening to the horns blowing, the courtesy being shown by all the drivers - in particular the idiots driving out through the "no entry" signs - and the friendly waves from other stranded motorists exercising their archery fingers!
Seriously, the problem is not bad driving but bad car park design and it's about time Tesco sorted it out.
I would like to know who designed this maze because I bet, like me and a lot of others, they wont be shopping at Tesco again.
