LEIGH RMI's main priority will be to prevent Barnet's Giuliano Grazioli from adding to his 22-goal tally when the Conference runaway leaders visit Hilton Park on Saturday.
Buoyed by two back-to-back victories, the Railwaymen will not be daunted by the prospect of challenging the Londoners, who are 14 points clear at the top of the table.
Manager Steve Bleasdale has worked wonders since taking the reins only five games ago, but he emphasised how important it was to keep tabs on Grazioli.
He said: "They are top of the league and a very good side, but they are beatable. Grazioli scores for fun, and although he is not the quickest striker, we will have to be careful at the back. He is a strong player.
"We are playing with pride and credibility." added Bleasdale. "The players are enjoying training and playing with enthusiasm. The back four have been strong and solid and obviously if we don't concede, which we haven't in our last two games, then there is always a chance of grabbing a win.
"James Worsnop has also made a difference in goal. He is commanding in his area and has made a big difference."
RMI have been bolstered by the return of experienced midfielder Gareth Stoker, who has recovered from an ankle injury, and striker Gary Williams.
Bleasdale said: "Stoker's return has added solidity, while Williams has given us extra in the wide areas, as he has the space to get at people."
Bleasdale has been busy on the transfer front but his plans depend on whether centre-half Ryan Clarke agrees to a permanent move as the Lincolnshire side will release the youngster when his loan deal expires this weekend. The manager wants Clarke to stay but if he turns the offer down Bleasdale will need another centre-back.
His plans to sign a big striker have also been frustrated by the arrival of Ronnie Moore as manager at Oldham. Bleasdale would like to sign Chris Hall on loan but Moore wants to have a look at his striker who impressed in the reserves this week. With only one loan deal open to him the manager must bide his time and wait for Hall, although he also has Stockport's Matthew Bailey as an alternative.
