DOGS will be putting their best paw forward later this month to help raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care in Bury.
Leading the Great Daffodil Dog Walk around Jumbles Country Park will be 10-year-old Billy, a dalmatian from Bury, who will be taking part despite an old cruciate ligament injury.
The walk, due to be held on Sunday, March 20, is backed by landowners United Utilities, and will take in five miles around the country park in Edgworth, Bolton.
The fundraiser also coincides with the daffodil campaign in March. Walkers will be meeting at 11am at the visitors centre and each pooch will receive a doggy goody bag for taking part.
To register a dog, contact Lesley Jackson for a sponsor form on 255 2812.
