RADCLIFFE Boro boss Kevin Glendon has added Ashton United centre-half Darren Royle and left-sided playmaker Peter Carty to his depleted squad for Saturdays game at Lincoln United.
"Darren is a big, strong centre-back who should give us the height and strength we need," he said.
As for Carty, the former Woodley, Curzon Ashton and Ashton United player, he said: "His signing will give us the natural balance we have missed since the injury to Andy Heald."
Royle the 30-year-old son of Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle, started out at Oldham Athletic before moving to Rochdale and then Altrincham.
He was recently being chased by Nationwide North teams Harrogate and Stalybridge.
And the good news doesnt stop there.
Following hot on the heels of Scott Wilson extending his contract for a further two seasons, striker Steve Foster, defender Simon Kelly and midfielder Martyn Forrest have now followed suit.
Foster currently leads both club and league in the goalscoring charts, form that has sparked a number of enquiries for his services.
Forrest was recently the subject of an approach from Northern Conference side Worcester City but turned down a lucrative offer to stay with Boro.
"Since he arrived his fitness levels have improved and I believe with the rest of this season and a pre-season under his belt we will have acquired a very experienced player," said Glendon.
"He captained Bury and made over a 100 appearances for them, yet he is still only 25.
"While Simon he just gets better every year."
As for achieving a play-off place, Glendon still believes it is possible.
"We have a dozen games left and we will not give up, although it is important we have one eye on next season whichever league we are in.
"This has been very difficult season with injuries, but we have still managed to keep in touch, even though we have more or less built a new team."
