I NEEDED to bake a wedding cake and previously have always hired cake tins from Wedding World on Infant Street in Accrington.

This is now closed and I have hunted high and low to find a hire shop, as the size I needed I couldn't buy. Eventually a friend tracked one down in Yorkshire.

We travelled 260 miles to hire the tin then return it. I was more than happy to do this as I was just pleased to be able to get the right tin. I wonder why there is nowhere in Lancashire I could hire one?
