I WRITE in relation to an article printed on Monday, January 17, 2005 entitled "Yob hit route in axe threat," about buses between Harle Syke and Burnley town centre.
I was deeply troubled to find that a service that I heavily rely upon is at risk of being axed.
I have the utmost respect for the elderly but I feel the service is more frequently used by commuters travelling to work, not just in the town but also further afield.
I myself commute to Manchester and would be severely affected by the service either altering its times or being axed altogether.
As the article affected me so much I am currently researching what has happened, what the proposals are for Burnley and Pendle and the police to help combat this and what we as a community can do to help.
