POLICE are investigating a suspected arson attack at a terrace house in Leyland Road, Burnley.
The incident, on Saturday morning, saw four firefighters search the mid-terraced property in Leyland Road after receiving reports that people may have been trapped inside.
Fortunately the building which was unoccupied at the time.
Fire chiefs ifound two origins of fire - from the furniture and in a bedroom.Station Officer Neil Mark said neighbouring properties suffered slight smoke damage.
He added: "Some smoke travelled into the neighbouring lofts as it does with fires in terrace houses."
A police spokeman today said they were investigating the "suspicious" circumstances of the blaze.
