ADE Akinbiyi is one of THREE players suspended as Burnley look to bounce back to winning ways against Leicester City tomorrow.
The Clarets striker will serve a three-game ban for violent conduct following his head-butt on defender George McCartney in Friday's night's disappointing 2-0 home defeat to Sunderland.
And that leaves boss Steve Cotterill with the king-sized headache of being down to 11 experienced senior outfield players for the Turf Moor clash with the Foxes.
Left back Mo Camara and the versatile Lee Roche will join Akinbiyi on the sidelines, both serving one-match bans for accumulating five yellow cards before the cut-off point at the end of February.
However, midfielder Tony Grant will feature if he shakes off the thigh injury that forced him out of the Black Cats' defeat at half time.
Grant also has five yellow cards to his name, but crucially will only be warned of his future conduct after picking up the fifth against Blackburn Rovers on March 1.
And the Clarets are also sweating on the fitness of defender John McGreal, who has missed the last four games following a back injury suffered in the first FA Cup clash with Rovers last month.
Cotterill said: "We have a couple of injury worries and just for good measure we now have a few suspensions too.
"It's typical that even they went to the last day in February before picking up their suspensions."
Meanwhile, skipper Frank Sinclair is backing striker Akinbiyi to win over Burnley fans still reeling from the red card he picked up just 158 seconds into his debut.
Sinclair, a former Leicester team mate of Akinbiyi's, said: "I've known Ade for a number of years now and he brings something totally different to the club - a bit of power and strength that we haven't really had this season.
"Over the next couple of years that will benefit the squad and the team."
