THE first ASBO in the region stopping anti-gay behaviour has been slapped on a Blackpool man.
Michael Seddon, of Beresford Street in the town, was banned from using 'foul, offensive, racist or homophobic language' in an anti-social behaviour order (ASBO) made by Blackpool Magistrates on February 22.
The order, valid for two years, also prohibits Seddon from causing harassment, alarm or distress to neighbours, doing anything likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress, performing any 'lewd or obscene act' especially at neighbours, and playing loud music or causing noise nuisance between the hours of 10pm and 8am.
He is also prohibited from using language which is, or is perceived by others to be, insulting, abusive, alarming or threatening 'to any person in England and Wales', especially his near neighbours.
