GIRLS at Bury Grammar came up with plenty of ideas to raise money for the South Asian tsunami relief appeal.
Groups at the junior school were asked to think of activities that might raise funds for victims of the disaster.
Among the projects put into practice were a cake sale, a "name the teddy" competition and sales of goody bags, raising a total of £406.
Headteacher Mrs Barbara Bottoms said: "We were very impressed with the girls' initiative and enthusiasm."
