BURNLEY boss Steve Cotterill is refusing to push the panic button ahead of tonight's rearranged Championship clash with Leicester.
The Clarets are looking to bounce back to winning ways after suffering three successive defeats for the first time this season.
But Cotterill insists luck has been against the Clarets, who could be without five first teamers tonight if injured duo Tony Grant and John McGreal fail to recover to compensate for suspended trio Mo Camara, Lee Roche and Ade Akinbiyi.
Cotterill said: "In the last few weeks, we've been a victim of poor decisions that have gone against us. There is no respite and you just need to win a game to give you that lift to keep going.
"I just think we have had an unbelievably tough week with the penalty decision at Preston and then obviously the heartache that everyone suffered against Blackburn in midweek.
"Then there was the Sunderland game, which came too quickly and certainly the decision with the second goal meant we were hard done by. But we've had lots of good weeks before that, so we have to take a bad one on the chin."
Despite back-to-back league defeats, the Clarets are still on the fringes of the play-off race, nine points off the pace ahead of City's visit, which represents their remaining game in hand on almost all their fellow challengers.
And with rock-bottom Rotherham United visiting Turf Moor this weekend, Cotterill knows the next two results can ensure Burnley keep the season bubbling along nicely.
The Clarets chief, who can recall John Oster tonight, added: "We haven't lost a great deal of ground, but at the end of the day we're trying our best to see where we can get to in the table.
"It has been very difficult this season with the squad we've had and we are at a stage now where the players are getting tired and suspensions kick in.
"Just recently, nailing down a starting 11 is something we just haven't been able to do, but we are only a couple of wins away from pushing for a late run.
"I haven't mentioned the play offs - I've just said we have to try to get to the highest position possible and already we have done remarkably well to keep the season going as long as we can."
Burnley fans are reminded that special prices apply for tonight's game, which was originally abandoned on New Year's Day due to a waterlogged pitch.
Admission is £10 adults and £5 concessions in all areas.
The Clarets have also rearranged their Championship game with QPR at Turf Moor, which will now take place Tuesday, April 19 (7.45pm KO).
