SPURRED by a hat-trick of tries from South African second row Louiz Holtzhausen, holders Sedgley Park strolled into the semi-finals of this year's Thwaites John Burgess Lancashire Senior Cup on the back of a 64-3 quarter-final win at Widnes on Sunday.
The team was a mix of first team regular and fringe players and second team regulars.
Leading the points charge along with 'Big Louiz' was full-back Chris Glynn, who scored two tries and kicked seven conversions.
Also on the scoresheet was Ross Bullough with two tries, while scrum-half Tom Albinson, Danny McGee and Carlos Hassan ran in one each.
As a result the Tigers are now in the hat for the semi-final draw, with the games due to be played the weekend of March 26-27, and the final on Monday, May 2.
