BLACKBURN Rovers' Under 18s cruised to a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Stoke City thanks to a superb hat-trick from in-form striker Keith Barker.
Barker took his tally for the season to 12 in the Academy League - and 14 in total - with a devastating treble as Gary Bowyer's side clocked up their third successive victory.
Rovers had beaten Stoke 1-0 earlier in the season courtesy of Bryan Hodge's early strike and they made it a league double at the weekend with Barker leading the rout.
The giant striker opened the scoring in the 22nd minute and then added further goals on 59 and 71 minutes to complete a fine hat-trick as Rovers kept up the pressure on their rivals.
