ABOUT four years ago we did a series of events for charity for my disabled grandson John who lives in Clayton-le-Moors. During this time he met David Dunn who visited him at his home numerous times.
At the Rovers-Burnley match his grandfather came to speak to John and as a result the following day David came to his home.
David is going in hospital for a leg operation and John is just out of hospital after a leg operation.
They discussed John, who is now a teenager and I believe he talked with David for about an hour.
I would like to wish David all best wishes for a speedy recovery and a hasty return to Blackburn Rovers. Thank you David from a very grateful gran.
