TYLDESLEY Rugby Union's junior teams tasted success when they took on Rochdale.
Tyldesley under 12s continued their excellent winning streak when they won 47-14.
After a shaky start which saw Rochdale take an early lead, Tyldesley reorganised and ran in try after try.
Calvin Hunt turned in a man of the match display when he ran the full length of the field to score.
Other try scorers included: Scott Brown, Laura Riches, Jordan Molyeneux, Shawn Hague and Danny Little.
New boys Jack Schofield and Owen Little also played their part in the thrilling spectacle.
Tyldesley under 11s overcame a difficult start to score 31 unanswered points in the second half during their 50-19 victory.
Man of the match Brett Jarvis and Sam Long helped get the team back into contention while Nathan Rushton won the top tackler award for his sterling defensive duties.
Tyldesley under 10s lost a hard fought game 40-25.
Ed Morley ran in three tries while Chris Howard scored twice against Rochdale. Some excellent tackling from Conner Ashton and Ben Ormord helped keep the Rochdale forwards at bay.
