RYAN Nelsen insists there'll be no letting up when Blackburn Rovers bid for an FA Cup semi-final place on Sunday.
The tie with Leicester City at Ewood Park comes on the back of a four-game unbeaten run, with the fifth round draw at Turf Moor the only game Rovers have failed to win in that sequence.
But Nelsen knows that, with precious Premiership points still at stake after the quarter-final, he and his team-mates can't afford to take it easy against a side lying 18th in the Coca-Cola Championship.
"It's the quarter final of the FA Cup so there's no relaxing, there's a big prize at the end of it," said Nelsen.
"But winning is a habit and you've got to keep doing it so it becomes easier and easier.
"It's not the mentality of this management here to take the foot off the pedal. I think we're starting to get a roll on, and we're starting to look up and not down.
"We're in a nice little run and hopefully we can continue it."
New Zealand international Nelsen, who skippered Rovers to victory over Burnley in their fifth round replay last week, is also well aware of the prestige that an FA Cup run gives to a club.
And with his side just one game away from the Millennium Stadium, the fever is beginning to get a grip.
"The FA Cup is a huge deal in New Zealand," said Nelsen. "I used to wake up at all hours in the morning to watch it in the middle of the night so it's making an impact on me again and you really get caught up in it.
"Mark Hughes had an amazing FA Cup career and he knows what it means to the Blackburn supporters There's a lot on it."
Meanwhile, Steven Reid hopes his performance at Everton was deemed good enough to keep him in the side to face Leicester.
With Robbie Savage and Brett Emerton both battling to return against the Foxes, Mark Hughes could have an abundance of midfield riches to pick from at the weekend.
However, Reid staked a strong claim to keep his place with a man of the match performance in the 1-0 win at Goodison and he is urging Hughes to keep faith with the players that performed so admirably against the Toffees.
The Republic of Ireland international said: "It was important I took my chance with Robbie coming back. I wanted to put myself in the frame for the game.
"We did well to beat Everton and now everyone is playing for their place in the cup side."
Tickets are now on open sale for Sunday's game and fans have just a few days left to snap up their seats for the eagerly anticipated tie.
This is a category B game so prices start from £15 for adults, £12 for seniors and just £5 for juniors and you can purchase them in person, by post, or via the ticket office hotline (08701 123456).
Tickets for next Wednesday's trip to Anfield also went on open sale today. Prices are £30 for adults, £22.50 for over 65s and £15 for juniors.
In the meantime, Rovers' reserves are in action against Manchester United at Altrincham's Moss Lane ground this evening in a top-of-the-table clash (kick off 7pm).
