THREE masked men, one armed with a crowbar, raided a newsagents shop in Leigh early on Friday morning.
The men entered the newsagents on Oaklands Road, Lowton, at 6.20am and threatened a male member of staff before breaking into an ATM machine inside the shop.
They stole money from the machine before escaping in a white vehicle driven by a fourth man. They made off in the direction of Leigh along Newton Road. No one was injured during the robbery.
