RAMSBOTTOM Heritage Society is planning an official opening of its new temporary premises this Easter.
The society has moved into St Paul's Church to allow library services to be provided at their building in Carr Street while Ramsbottom Library undergoes a massive renovation programme.
Once completed, the library will house adult education services as well as extending the services it already provides.
On Easter Sunday, Ramsbottom Heritage Society will be staging a special exhibition to acknowledge the church's help. The display will illustrate how St Paul's Church is linked with the surrounding community.
Society members are hoping to maintain their normal opening hours of every second and fourth Saturday in the month, as well as every Sunday, subject to there being no conflict with church services.
