A TASTE of the old Wild West will swagger on to the catwalk as part of a charity fashion show at Bury Town Hall.
Bury-based businesses Antony for Hair, Spirit Ladieswear, Urban Menswear, Yates and Suddell opticians and Bare Essentials lingerie will be holding a cowboys and indians themed fashion show on Monday to raise money for Cancer Research.
It is the third show to be held and organisers are hoping to smash last year's total of just under £4,000 by reaching a target of £5,000.
The event, in the Elizaberthan Suite, will open at 7.30pm with the fashion show taking to the catwalk at 8pm. Entertainment will be provided by Bolton singer Anna Calvert and an aftershow party will be held at Y2K wine bar in Silver Street as a thank-you to those involved.
During the interval, a raffle will be held for goodie bags packed with hair products and shopping vouchers.
Antony Popadich, who runs Antony for Hair, said: "It is absolutely going to be a success - it always has been.
"We have changed venue this year to allow more people to attend and hoping for more than 300 people to come."
Tickets cost £15 and are available from Antony for Hair in Tithebarn Street on (0161) 764 3074 as well as from any of the above businesses or on the door.
