CRECHE facilities at Bury's Village Hotel have received a glowing report from Ofsted.
The childcare amenity at the Waterfold Business Park hotel scored almost the highest marks possible from the non-ministerial Government department, which is responsible for delivering and raising education standards.
Creche manager Amanda Nash commented: "The team and I are happy that our hard work and commitment have been recognised and that the highest standard of care has been achieved."
The Ofsted inspection report highlighted that the facilities have a warm, welcoming and well-maintained environment where children have access to a wide range of activities and quality toys. The creche is registered to take 26 children, six of whom are under two. Age ranges at the creche are from four months up to five years.
Dedicated staff actively encourage learning through play and develop good relationships with the children so that individual needs are effectively addressed. The creche also boasts a secure outdoor play area that is currently undergoing refurbishment and scheduled to reopen in June.
The creche, open 10 hours each weekday, is also open to members of the hotel leisure club. And its membership also extends to employees at the neighbouring PC World.
