HEALTH and safety is top of the agenda at the next week meeting of Radcliffe Area Board on Monday at Radcliffe Civic Suite, at 7pm.
Bury Primary Care Trust will take centre stage with a presentation about new ways of working in the health sector. There will be an emphasis on developments in Radcliffe, including new facilities and addressing the health problems of residents.
Jackie Veal, from Bury Council's Sports Development Unit, will provide an update on the work of the Active Radcliffe Sports Partnership developing sporting provision in the area.
Road safety remains a major topic and the council's borough engineers will give a presentation on improvement plans. There will also be an update from highways on proposed traffic calming measures and highways improvements in the area.
Problems with waste and derelict land will also be discussed, with officers on hand to discuss potential problems and solutions regarding these sites.
In addition, there will be 45 minutes set aside for residents to raise any other issue of concern.
