A 24-YEAR-OLD man has appeared before Bury magistrates accused of driving at speeds of up to 70 mph in a built-up area during which it is alleged he failed to stop at junctions and caused other vehicles to swerve.
Stuart James Moxon, however, denied a charge that he drove dangerously in Scobell Street, Tottington. The magistrates declined jurisdiction and Moxon, of Robert Street, Bury, was remanded on unconditional bail to May 6 when he will be committed to stand trial at the Crown Court, Bolton.
