A RAF man from Unsworth hopes he'll be off to a flyer when he runs in the London Marathon on April 17.
Jon Krelle aims to raise £500 by joining the Children with Leukaemia Mr Men and Little Miss team in the event. Leukaemia kills more children in the UK than any other disease.
The 35-year-old is spending every spare minute either training or fundraising, ready for his big day next month.
Jon, who took part in the London Marathon in 1999, was introduced to the charity by a friend and has raised funds for Children with Leukaemia on many occasions . As part of his training, he has taken part in the Basrah 10km run, as he was on a three month detachment to Iraq at the time.
