IT is good to know that some attempt is being made to end the sexually depraved behaviour in public places, recently reported on.

These attempts are to be praised and encouraged, but should also be acknowledged as only dealing with the symptoms of the problem, rather than the root causes.

To prevent the escalation of sexual depravity we need to cease worshipping sex.

As a nation we need to regain the truth that sex outside marriage is wrong and is spiritually detrimental to those who practise it.

When objects we buy malfunction, we turn to the maker's manual to identify and rectify the fault.

"Dogging" and "cottaging" are sexual malfunctions. If they were not, there would be no fuss. It was God's decision to make us male and female -- nobody else's -- therefore we need to turn to his manual to find the proper place for joyful and fulfilling sex in our lives. That place is within marriage, with the person we love.

Practising our sexuality in accordance with God's will, will be a blessing to us. Outside of his will, it brings disaster.

This notion needs people not just to deal with the symptoms of sexual depravity, but with the roots.
