MASKED robbers, one armed with a crow bar, stole cash from a Lowton newsagents early last Friday (11) morning.
At about 6.20am the three raiders entered the shop on Oakalnds Road where they threatened a male member of staff before smashing open an ATM machine.
They stole money from the machince before escaping in a white vehicle driven by a fourth man. They made off along Newton Road in the direction of Leigh.
No-one was injured during the robbery.
