LEIGH Round Tablers are to relay run Friday's big match derby ball to Wigan.
The lads aim to mark the first Super League game between RL rivals Leigh Centurions and Wigan Warriors with a charity run to boost funds for Wigan and Leigh Hospice.
The team, who will cover the 10 mile trip in relay pairs, collected the match ball before the home match with Bradford Bulls at the weekend and will deliver it to the JJB Stadium in time for Fridays 8pm kick off.
The cash raised will come from a combination of business sponsorship of each mile leg of the run and by en route collections, and Tablers will help the hospice volunteers' bucket collection outside the ground.
The runners will leave Leigh town centre at midday running via Westleigh, Hindley, Ince and Wigan town centre.
