MORE help may soon be on the way for victims of self-inflicted injury.
The Wigan, Leigh and Ashton Primary Care Trust has commissioned a survey to look at how well services meet the needs of many local people who commit self abuse.
The project is being conducted by researcher, Caron Westwood, and managed by the Leigh Well Women Centre.
Caron is keen to talk in total confidence to all sufferers over 16 who are willing to share their experiences.
Questionnaires have been circulated around the borough but further copies are available at 85, Church Street. The findings will be presented in a report for the PCT together with any recommendations which could improve the services on offer.
Anyone willing to contribute or who would like an informal, confidential talk should contact the centre co-ordinator on 01942 681411.
