LEIGH RMI under 10's had an emphatic 9-1 home win against lowly Ladybridge Crusaders to keep them top of their division in the Bolton and Bury Junior Football League.
Leigh were swiftly into their stride with a goal after three minutes from Ryan Holland. Further goals from Matty Wilkinson, Kyle Swindells and Louis Morris gave them a decisive lead.
As the first half wore on, Wilkinson finished off a brilliant move to volley home his second and then completing his hat-trick.
Subsitutes Pollard and Wood came on as Leigh continued to dominate, and in the second half there was no let up in the scoring with Louis Morris also completing his hat-trick with two more well taken goals.
Kyle Swindells completed the scoring with his second and Leigh's ninth before a late consolation goal from Ladybridge.
