POLICE will be building bridges with the community during a special event to be staged at Philips High School in Whitefield on Tuesday.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) is holding the family fun day between 1.30pm and 3.30pm to inform residents how they can work with police and other organisations to keep Bury safe and to encourage local people to be "Proud of Bury" and its diversity. Among those attending will be the deputy mayor Councillor Wilf Davison and Superintendent Peter Scofield of Bury police.
