RED Nose Day turned into a Red Hair Day for one employee at Barclays Bank in Bury.
Chris Lees, one of the branch's Small Business Managers, was persuaded to have his hair dyed red to raise money. Other members of staff joined in the fund-raising by holding a quiz and bringing in donations from customers.
Julie Stonehewer, of the branch's social committee, said: "A huge total of £468 was raised on the day, which Barclays has matched under its Pound for Pound scheme, meaning that we were able to pledge £936 to Comic Relief. We are very grateful to customers and staff."
