A SERIES of evening walks by local Scouts has been mapped out and put into a special showcase.
The summer strolls were undertaken by Scouts from Greenmount Fellowship as part of their Environment Award last year and were so popular that it was decided to log them all for others to enjoy.
The showcase, located outside Greenmount Old School, was officially unveiled by Ramsbottom, Tottington and North Manor Area Board co-ordinator Kim Griffiths, who had done much to acquire funding through the council's Liveability Fund.
More than 80 people attended the opening in uncharacteristically warm spring weather and then a group tried out one of the listed routes, a one-hour walk down to Tottington and back.
The Greenmount Scout Fellowship is celebrating 40 years this year.
