EASTER will be a blast for local youngsters who love sports, games and learning new skills.
A fortnight of half-term holiday fun starts on Monday through Bury Council's BLAST project (Bury Leisure Activities outside School Term) for those aged eight to 14.
The programme will include coaching in Cricket and other sports, arts and crafts, computer games and videos.
Events run every weekday (except Good Friday and Easter Monday) from 8.30am until 5.30pm at four venues: Radcliffe Cricket Club; Prestwich Cricket, Tennis and Bowling Club; Walshaw Sports Club; and Woodbank Cricket, Sports and Social Club.
Places can be booked, and full details obtained, at www.bury.gov.uk/Bury/SportsDevelopment or by ringing Carly Ibbott, the council's holiday activities co-ordinator, on 0161 253 6548.
