I THINK the Stations of the Cross paintings are ghastly, but what I found really offensive is the four occasions that "His" and "Him" are written with lower case first letters in your narrative.
It seems to be that there is more than a hint of "Emperor's New Clothes" about the eruption of so-called art, be it paintings, street furniture or panopticons.
We are not to be told how much these paintings cost, but coming on the same day that we learn of the closure of St Bartholomew's because of lack of money it does make one wonder.
