NEW working arrangements for staff have won Bury Council special Investor in People accreditation for its 'work/life balance'.
The programme allows employees to opt for job sharing, unpaid breaks and flexi-time to suit their domestic life.
Councillor Wayne Campbell, executive member for resource, said: "The benefits to us and for residents are that we have a happier, less stressed and more productive group of employees."
