WHILST I am fortunate enough to live in a Band A property, I still have to pay £330 per year for my water and sewerage.
When I received my water bill I was also offered additional services, and assured that any problems would be dealt with promptly.
I had a water leak outside my property on February 7. I reported it on February 8, an inspector came out and decided it wasnt a priority, and the job was allocated to Enterprise Contractors. Several phone calls followed before we were informed that Enterprise would deal with the problem on March 16 - five weeks after it was first reported.
Meanwhile, good, clean, treated water, paid for by people like us, was streaming down the sewers. It hardly inspires you to subscribe to more services.
