COCKLING in Morecambe Bay is to come under the microscope at a special seminar.
Anyone can join in the session planned to look into all the issues surrounding cockling and its management.
Recent developments to improve the situation - including the permit scheme introduced in February and new safety guidelines - will be high on the agenda.
Speakers include Jim Andrews, from the North West and North Wales sea fisheries committee and Sue Todd of the Maritime and Coast-guard Agency.
The seminar will be on Tuesday, April 12, at 2pm in the Coro-nation Hall, Ulvers-ton. Call 01539-773447 for details.
