WALK-In centres will be open and doctors will be on call for people requiring medical attention over the Easter Holidays.
Both Prestwich and Bury NHS Walk-In centres will open from 9am on the bank holidays and over the weekend. The Bury centre, in Parsons Lane, will close at 10pm, with the centre in Fairfax Road, Prestwich, closing at 5pm.
Bury and Rochdale Doctors on Call (BARDOC) will operate as usual. Patients should contact their surgery as normal and follow the answerphone instructions.
However, people are advised to check the opening hours of pharmacies
Mrs Anne Coates, director of strategy and service development at Bury Primary Care Trust, said: "Patients can access advice, information and treatment for minor ailments, illnesses and injuries such as minor cuts and sprains at our NHS Walk-In centres.
"Both allow rapid access to an experienced NHS nurse and no appointment is necessary. They are open from early in the morning until late in the evening, every single day of the year."
