SIXTEEN-year-old Radcliffe weightlifter Andreas Michaelas claimed his sixth title when he lifted the British Under-17 62kg crown.
Andreas, of Stand Lane, Radcliffe, a pupil at Wright Robinson Sports College, was on home ground when he posted a total of 167.5kg to emerge champion yet again.
The youngster, who was also voted North West Young Sports Person of the Year for 2004, regularly competes in Europe as part of the Great Britain team.
He is currently in training for this year's European Championships.
