ON March 6, I was visiting the Castle Armoury for the antiques fair sales. As a disabled driver I set the time clock at 9.30am and placed my permit in the nearside of the car, clearly visible to anyone who may have cause to inspect it.
I was parked in a lane of four vehicles, all displaying blue badges. When I returned to my vehicle on hour later I found that I had received a fixed penalty parking fine, though none of the others had.
My parking ticket indicated a "waiting restriction" violation, but if I was wrong for parking in that area, why were the others not?
It is a flagrant miscarriage of justice.
