BURY went into Monday's game at Chester hoping to end the month unbeaten
Up to now, March has seen the Shakers beat Cambridge, Grimsby and leaders Yeovil, their only dropped points coming in a 1-1 home draw against Bristol Rovers.
Injuries, however, were a worry for manager Graham Barrow as Lee Unsworth and Jon Newby were both rated doubtful for the game.
On the credit side, John Fitzgerald was back from Ireland U21s' trip to Israel and was on standby to take Unsworth's place, while Colin Kazim-Richards could deputize for Newby.
For manager Barrow, is was a return to one of his former clubs, and if his side can return from the Deva Stadium unbeaten, it could land the Manager of the Month title for the Gigg Lane boss.
