A MEDICAL charity is asking for volunteers taking part in the Greater Manchester Run to help raise money for the sufferers of the muscle-wasting disease myasthenia gravis.
The Bury and Bolton support group of the Myasthenia Gravis Association have a few places left for runners attempting the course on May 22 and the money raised will help fund research, care and education programmes.
Entrants will need to provide a deposit of £300 and raise a minimum of £200. For more information, call 01457 766 410.
