HOW could Cllr Peter Robinson make such a sweeping statement in his letter regarding 'people' in the West End of Morecambe which was published in the Citizen last week.
Generalisations like this are the last thing he should be coming out with as a councillor.
Surely he, above all, must know that you cannot put everyone in the West End in the same boat.
If this is the way he thinks on all issues, no wonder proposals such as the planned Western bypass from Heysham to Galgate were destroyed.
Anyone who has to drive South from Morecambe on a regular basis must agree that that was one of the most backward moves ever.
The West End is an extremely diverse area and our reasons for voting Labour could be as simple as not liking the Conservative councillor's opinions!
