BEDFORD High School's first meeting of the School Council this month discussed year 7's idea to launch a recycling venture - for aluminium cans and possibly plastic bottles. The aim of the project is to reduce litter, preserve the environment and possibly raise some income.

During this Easter holiday the town centre has looked like a tip by lunch time.
