THREE armed robbers who stole up to £100,000 worth of property and have been using a stolen debit card taken from a Tyldesley home are still being hunted by detectives.

The gang burst into the home on Haseley Close armed with a machete and sawn off shot gun, on July 29 last year.

Two of the men went upstairs where the 35-year-old victim, his wife and four-month-old daughter were asleep in bed.

The men demanded the 35-year-old man hand over the keys to the family cars.

The third man stayed downstairs throughout the incident.

No one was injured during the robbery but the offenders made off with two cars and other property, worth more than £100,000.

The majority of the property has now been recovered. The stolen debit card has been used up to 43 times in Boots stores across Merseyside, Cheshire and North Wales between August 3 and 4 last year.

The card was used to purchase £40 gift vouchers each time it was used.
