THANK you to your newspaper for highlighting the tremendous injustice that John Hacking has had to endure over the last four years (LET, March 24).
I have known Mr Hacking since he first started at the school as both my children were pupils there and benefited from both his quality of teaching and his care and enthusiasm for the children and teaching in general.
Knowing his character, I believe he has been totally unfairly dealt with, both by certain staff, some governors at Lammack school and by the local education authority. At least now the tribunal has recognised that it was wrong to dismiss him.
I hope both the local authority and your paper will expose why this situation ever came before a tribunal in the first place.
